Since opening its doors in May of 2009, Central Coffee Company has been more than just a coffee shop – it’s been a labor of love for owner Jimmy Kleto and his family. In those early days, Jimmy worked tirelessly behind the espresso bar, while his mother, Olga, churned out scone after scone in the kitchen, and his father, Nick, manned the register.

As the business grew, so did the family’s involvement. Jimmy’s fiancée at the time, Louisa, joined him in Charlotte, and together they worked to expand Central Coffee Company into the beloved neighborhood institution it is today. With the addition of several employees to keep up with the growing customer base, Jimmy and Louisa have always prioritized making everyone feel welcome and at home.

Central Coffee Company isn’t just a place to grab a cup of coffee – it’s a community hub where regulars and new neighbors alike can come together and connect.
